I am going to college now. As math has always been my weakness, I purchased the course material in advance. I am plan on learning a couple of chapters before the classes start. Any kind of tools would be highly appreciated that could help me to start studying sample +probles of mathematical investigation myself.

You’re not alone. As a matter of fact, I had the same problem just before I found something very helpful. Have you heard about Algebrator? If you have not heard anything about this great piece of program yet, let me give you an idea about this software. This is a program that helps you to answer math problems and at the same time you could learn from it because it displays a detailed procedure of answering the problem. It really helped me in my problems in math and my grade significantly improved since I tried this. Be reminded that it does not only show the answer but it helps you understand how to solve the problem that makes it very educational.

I would just add a note to what has been said above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a reference and a means to learn and never to cheat.
