Hello there I have almost taken the decision to hirea math tutor, because I've been having a lot of problems with math homework this year. each time when I come home from school I spendall the afternoon with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not completely sure whether a algebra private teacher is worth it, since it's not cheap, and who knows, maybe it's not even that good. Does anyone know anything about basic half-life problem algebra that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about function definition, slope or decimals? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I agree, websites on the internet are no better than the college books. Algebrator is a good method to start your math career.
