Hi math wizards! I am about halfway through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with algebra solving program. Could somebody out there please enlighten me with complex fractions, interval notation and solving inequalities. I can’t afford to pay for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of getting better with topics like factoring or angle-angle similarity painlessly, please help me out Thanks a lot

I know how difficult it can be if you are clueless with algebra solving program. It’s a bit hard to give you advice without more details of your situation. But if you rather not get a tutor, then why not just use some computer program and see what you think. There are myriads of programs out there, but one you should test out would be Algebrator. It is pretty easy to use plus it is quite affordable.

Some professors really don’t know how to explain that well. Luckily, there are programs like Algebrator that makes a great substitute teacher for math subjects. It might even be better than a real teacher because it’s more accurate and faster!

I remember having often faced difficulties with converting decimals, logarithms and lcf. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Algebra 2. I greatly recommend the program.

It’s amazing that a program can perform that. I didn’t expect something like that could help in algebra. I’m used to be tutored by a teacher but this really sounds cool. Do you have any links for this software?
