Greetings, I am a high-school student and pretty soonI will have my exams in algebra. I was never a math genius, but this year I am really afraid that I won't be able to finish this course. I came across using logs on ti-83 and other algebra problems that I can’t solve. the following topics really made me panic: unlike denominators and multiplying matrices .Getting a a teacher is impossible for me, because I don't have any money. Please help me!!

I don’t think I know of any website where you can get your calculations of using logs on ti-83 checked within hours. There however are a couple of websites which do offer help, but one has to wait for at least 24 hours before getting any reply. What I know for sure is that, this software called Algebrator, that I used during my college career was really good and I was quite happy with it. It almost gives the type of results you need.

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.easyalgebra.com/inequalities.html after a magazine suggested it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem assigned by my teacher and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra homework. It’s almost like a tutor is explaining it to you. I have been using it for two months and so far, haven’t come across any problem that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it!

Thanks guys for all your replies. I have got the Algebrator from http://www.easyalgebra.com/slope-of-a-line.html. Just got it set and started using it. Its fantastic. The exercise problems can test the real expertise that we have on Basic Math. I am really grateful to you all!

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with slope, graphing parabolas and x-intercept. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
