Hi! Our class just started discussing a new topic in algebra regarding online graphing calculators with local maximum and minimum and I did good for most homeworks we got but the latest one my professor gave really confusing so I'd appreciate if someone would assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my math teacher gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but to no avail. I can’t answer it with ease unlike the other homeworks. I had an easy time solving my past assignments but this particular assignment with specific topic of y-intercept gives me a hard time just discovering how to start. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if somebody help me in showing the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.

I do understand what your problem is, but if you could explain in greater detail the areas in which you are facing struggling, then I might be in a better position to guide you. Anyhow I have a suggestion for you, try Algebrator. It can solve a wide variety of questions, and it can do so within minutes. And there’s more to come, it also gives a detailed step-by-step description of how it arrived at a particular answer. That way you don’t just solve your problem but also get to understand how to go about solving it. I found this program to be particularly useful for solving questions on online graphing calculators with local maximum and minimum. But that’s just my experience, I’m sure it’ll be good for other topics as well.

I couldn’t agree more with what has just been said. Algebrator has always come to my rescue, be it a homework or be it my preparation for the final exams, Algebrator has always helped me do well in algebra. It particularly helped me on topics like radical equations, logarithms and mixed numbers. I would highly recommend this software.

It’s amazing that a program can do that. I didn’t expect something like that could be helpful in math. I’m used to be tutored by a tutor but this really sounds cool. Do you have any links for this program?
