Hi math lovers, I heard that there are various software that can help with us doing our homework, like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can assist me with algebra? I have never tried one before, but they are probably not hard to use I assume. If anyone tried such a program, I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Algebra 1 now, so I've been studying things like downloadable algebra number line and it's not easy at all.

If you can be explicit about downloadable algebra number line, I may be able to help to solve the math problem. If you don’t want to pay for a math tutor, the next best option would be a proper computer program which can help you to solve the problems. Algebrator is the best I have come upon which will show every step of the solution to any algebra problem that you may write from your book. You can simply represent as your homework assignment. This Algebrator should be used to learn algebra rather than for copying answers for assignments.

I am a student turned teacher; I give classes to high school children. Along with the regular mode of teaching, I use Algebrator to solve examples practically in front of the students.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 2. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with algebra formulas, radical expressions and side-angle-side similarity. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
