It always feels nice when I hear that beginners are willing to put that extra punch into their studies. decimal to fraction with radical is not a very difficult topic and you can easily do some initial work yourself. As a useful tool, I would advise that you get a copy of Algebrator. This tool is quite handy when doing math yourself.

Algebrator is a amazing software. All I had to do with my difficulties with graphing parabolas, multiplying matrices and adding exponents was to simply type in the problems; hit the ‘solve’ and presto, the result just popped out step-by-step in an effortless manner. I have used this to problems in Basic Math, Algebra 2 and Basic Math. I would boldly say that this is just the thing for you.
