Hello everyone. I am a student in the Remedial Algebra. I like algebra very much since I was little. Unfortunately I have come to a point where I can no longer solve my algebra problems on my own. I had a math private teacher, who helped me so far with my homework, but I had to pay so much that I had to tell him not to come anymore. Today we studied something new: the difference between simplify and solve, and when I came home from class I noticed that I can't do my math homework, and that scared me. I also still don't get like denominators and lcf. What should I do now? I adore math and I don't want to have low grades.

I do understand what your situation is, but if you could elaborate a bit on the areas in which you are facing difficulty, then I might be in a better position to guide you. Anyhow I have a suggestion for you, try Algebrator. It can solve a wide variety of questions, and it can do so within minutes. And that’s not it, it also gives a detailed step-by-step description of how it arrived at a particular solution. That way you don’t just find a solution to your problem but also get to understand how to go about solving it. I found this software to be particularly useful for solving questions on the difference between simplify and solve. But that’s just my experience, I’m sure it’ll be good for other topics as well.

Algebrator truly is a must-have for us algebra students. As my dear friend said in the preceding post, it solves questions and it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that final solution. That way apart from knowing the final answer, we also learn how to go about solving questions right from the first step till the last, and it helps a lot in preparing for exams.

Algebrator is a very user friendly software and is surely worth a try. You will find lot of exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math much more fun.

Yeah you will have to buy it though it will cost you less than a tutor. You can get an idea about Algebrator here http://www.easyalgebra.com/using-intercepts-for-graphing-linear-equations.html. They give you an no questions asked money-back guarantee. I haven’t yet had any reason to take them up on it though. All the best!
