subtracting algebraic expressions with fractional exponents

Hi! Our class just started tackling a new topic in algebra about subtracting algebraic expressions with fractional exponents and I did good for most assignments we had but the latest one my teacher gave complex so I'd love if someone will assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my algebra teacher gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried solving it but to no avail. I just can’t answer it with ease unlike the other homeworks. I had no trouble solving my past assignments but this particular assignment with specific topic of graphing parabolas gives me a hard time just figuring out how to start. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if someone help me in discussing the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.

I have been in your situation a few years agowhen I was learning subtracting algebraic expressions with fractional exponents. What part of side-angle-side similarity and simplifying expressions poses more difficulties? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good program to help you understand the basic concepts and ways of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a software like that? I have tried many but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to solve, it doesn't just give you the solutions.

Hi there! I used Algebrator last year when I was having issues with my college math. This software made solving equations so easy. Since then, I always keep a copy of it on my computer.

Algebrator is a very simple product and is definitely worth a try. You will find lot of interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math much more enjoyable.
