Guys, I am in need of assistance on linear inequalities, graphing parabolas, difference of cubes and system of equations. Since I am a newbie to Pre Algebra, I really want to learn the basics of Algebra 1 completely. Can anyone recommend the best place from where I can start reading the basics? I have an exam next week.

That’s exactly the kind of problem I had encountered. Can you elucidate a some more on what your problems are with algebrator? Yeah. Getting an reasonably priced teacher suitable to your wants is fairly easier said than done now-a-days. But even I went on to do almost all the things that you are doing now. But then, my search ended when I found out that there are a number of software in math. They are reasonably priced. I was really elated with it. May be this is just what you need. What do you think about this?

I checked out a number of software programs before I chose Algebrator. This was the most suitable for relations, angle complements and quadratic formula. It was effortless to key in the problem. Instead of simply giving the solution, it took me through all the steps explaining all the way until it reached the answer. By the time, I reached the solution I learnt how to go about it by myself. I used the program for solving my problems in Pre Algebra, Intermediate algebra and College Algebra in algebra. Do you think that you will like to try this out?

Can a software really help me learn my math? Guys I don’t want something that will solve equations for me, instead I want something that will help me understand the concepts as well.

Thanks dudes for all your help. I have bought the Algebrator from http://www.easyalgebra.com/straight-lines.html. Just got it set and started using it. Its terrific. The exercise questions can test the real knowledge that we possess on Remedial Algebra. I am really grateful to you all!
