Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a math tutor to guide me with some topics in algebra. My problem areas included topics such as 8th grade tutorials on graphing equations and simplifying expressions. Now that teacher turned out to be so dumb, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was. I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything significant that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much I try. Please help!

I know how annoying it can be if you are clueless with 8th grade tutorials on graphing equations. It’s a bit hard to help without more details of your needs. But if you can’t afford a tutor, then why not just use some program and see if it helps. There are countless programs out there, but one you should consider would be Algebrator. It is pretty easy to use plus it is pretty cheap.

I am a student turned tutor; I give classes to high school children. Along with the traditional mode of teaching, I use Algebrator to solve examples practically in front of the learners.

Thank you very much for your response! Could you please tell me how to get hold of this program? I don’t have much time on hand since I have to finish this in a few days.
